While diving into the positioning and Hannah's inspiration, we created multiple mood boards for her to choose from and picked the one that felt most organic, grounded, with subtle midcentury-modern references.
Hannah is a relatable, tell it like it is mom who isn't afraid to drop an F-bomb now and then, and we wanted some silly cool-mom vibes to shine in the brand.
While diving into the audience and Adrianna's inspirations, we created multiple mood boards for her to choose from and picked the one that felt most cinematic, powerful, and moving.
With the strategy done, we create a logo suite to include wavy lines and rug shapes that feel organic and light hearted, as well as some bold, playful text that shows the unapologetic and authentic personality that Hannah (and each vintage rug!) has. The submark icon is a 'R' that has an 'n' tucked inside for Northside Rugs!
After finalizing all brand assets and brand guidelines, we turned our attention to Hannah's SquareSpace website.
She was really excited to update her website herself, but she wanted a little bit of design direction on how to integrate the new brand elements and make the website flow for customers.
I created a brand audit for her with suggestions for user experience and conversion, as well as creating full design mockups for each page on her site for her to reference!
These web page mockups were provided during the web audit portion of the project to provide design direction for when Hannah would integrate them into her own site.
Hannah did an amazing job updating her site and it has been so fun to see all the brand elements in use, as well as seeing all of her fresh new rug arrivals!
