CASE STUDY

PROJECT GOALS:

MISSOULA MAKERS
& MAKING MISSOULA

These two brands are like branches of the same tree, one a space and community for makers to sell their goods, and the other is a non-profit focused on providing professional growth opportunities for makers!

We created unique brand identities for each to make them distinguishable from each other, yet still connected.

Missoula Makers & Making Missoula

STRATEGY

The Missoula Makers is meant to feel cozy, inviting, with an emphasis on the hand made products that they sell in their shop.

The Making Missoula identity was to be a little cleaner, yet not too serious and still with a cool, hip feel that makers would connect with.

We used some similar colors in both, with each having unique colors not included in the other.

Growing community

They have used their brand patterns and icons to decorate their shop and create beautiful packaging!

Missoula Makers has since opened their own brick and mortar shop downtown!

Making Missoula has hosted many workshops for makers and are now able to offer grants to artists!

MM REVIEWS

"Emma has been a part of every rebrand I've done, and has now made logos and brand kits for myself twice, my other business, and so many of my friends.

I never recommend anyone else, and the biggest reason why is Emma always delivers and usually gives you something that feels like it's been a part of you forever. "
