It definitely depends on your specific business needs and your amount of DIY time and skills you are willing to put into brand elements after the initial identity development. This is something we can talk about in our free discovery call! I can complete the foundations for you and set you up to do things like web design and instagram templates on your own, or I can create those and other print designs like packaging and business cards, for you. It all depends on what you need and how much time/energy you have to do things yourself!

A lot! Strategy starts with us making sure we have a clear view of your business, goals, audience, and what makes you special. Everything influences the visual design as well as marketing tactics and positioning. Then, once we have the strategy, we develop visuals, first with a direction phase (the vibes) and then a full identity phase that includes the logo suite (5+ logo variations that all go together), photography inspo, brand patterns, and more. Then of course there are the color palettes, color combos, typography system, & guidlines!
Can you design business cards & letterhead also?

Yes! Our branding session is not limited to the basics unless you want it to be. I can also design posters, programs, business cards, product packaging, menus, and more. Some people prefer to do this themselves once I've given them the brand guidelines and instructions to follow, but I am happy to do the heavy lifting for people short on time who prefer to delegate tasks to get more of their personal time back.
Can you design one logo? I don't want the other stuff.

I don't offer this service because the analysis and strategy that I do to create an intentional and unique logo suites sets clients up for more success in the long run. I also believe that colors and typography are very important to the success of brands and also help save the business owners time and headache. If I design just one logo without this thoughtful and collaborative approach, it could be harder to make sure we are on the same page and it isn't as likely to connect with your customers which could affect your bottom line.

Yes! I do not want to gate-keep your website. I design mostly on Showit or Wix Studio which are both very intuitive web builders that don't require code. Showit is extremely customizable and when I transfer you your site, it has your web kit built in, plus I will provide you with 2-3 weeks of website aftercare and customized training videos so you can make updates yourself.
Do I have to do branding before I get a website?

Yes, you will need a full brand identity before I can work with you. Either you can work with me to create it, or if you already have one, I can review it and make sure it has all of the bases covered and that I can work with it. Diving into web design without a strong visual identity system is like trying to ride a bike without wheels - you won't get very far unless you go and find some wheels! Silly analogy I just came up with, but you get the point. In order to move forward, I would end up creating a brand for you anyway!
How long does it usually take for website design?
Time depends on the size of you size and the amount on special integrations (like a blog or shop) that you will need. A Blossoming Homepage takes about 1 month, a Thriving Website about 2 months, and if you had a large site with more needs, a good estimate could be around 3 months to give appropriate time for revision windows, shop building, SEO optimization, and aftercare.
